Situated on 111 acres of land with breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, our Ecovillage is a haven of tranquility and natural splendor.
Located on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, our Costa Rica property is bordered by two magnificent rivers that boast awe-inspiring waterfalls, reaching heights of over 100 ft. These rivers play a vital role in the watershed for surrounding communities, making our location even more special.
Adjacent to the Cabo Blanco National Reserve, our Ecovillage boasts old growth forests, a serene lake, an educational center building, a greenhouse, bathhouses, and a water harvesting tank integrated into the design. We have meticulously prepared roadwork, walking trails, and additional building sites to ensure a harmonious blend of nature and sustainable infrastructure.
At Comunidad, we believe in the power of community and collaboration.
About Our Ecovillage
An ecovillage is a sustainable community that strives to minimize negative impact on the environment through intentional design and resident choices. At Comunidad.World, our ecovillage offers a small-scale alternative with minimal ecological footprint. We prioritize regenerative practices and seek alternatives to harmful systems in areas such as electricity, water, transportation, and waste treatment. Join us in creating a harmonious and sustainable living environment.
Our dedication to conservation is evident throughout Comunidad, as 70% of our total land is preserved as a natural jungle ecosystem. We strive to maintain the delicate balance between human habitation and the preservation of our precious natural resources.
If you're looking to learn and explore new, practical ways of sustainable living, we invite you to arrange a visit to our farm. Whether you're part of a school group or a curious individual, we have educational sessions that complement the approved curriculum and provide hands-on experiences in sustainable practices.
Come be a part of our Ecovillage at Comunidad and discover a harmonious way of living that nurtures both the land and its inhabitants. Join us in creating a sustainable future for generations to come.
